Rahee is a third-year student in the Biosciences department. She successfully completed the foundation year course at Durham ISC and progressed to Durham university. She is interested in Biochemistry and molecular biology. In the summer of 2022, she worked as an intern at Insect Neuro Lab in Durham, funded by Collingwood’s Undergraduate Research Internship Programme (UGRI). She participated in a project investigating the development and function of visual systems in mosquitoes with molecular biology experiments. In the autumn of 2022, she is planning to start her research project for the level 3 module under the supervision of Dr Lena Riabinina in collaboration with Dr Steve Chivasa, using a variety of skills she learned in the lab during the summer internship. She hopes to continue taking a step toward her career.
