Graduating with a BSc in Biology and Chemistry within the Natural Sciences programme at Durham University in 2020, Nyasha developed a propensity for practical lab work within both departments, conducting organic molecule synthesis, spectroscopic assays and a range of other protocols. She will be aided by previous lab experience within the hospital labs as well as psychology department of Cardiff University, as well as her experience as a STEM Scholar within the Black Sea Maritime Archaeology Project in Bulgaria. Combining her passion for science with her enthusiasm for the environment and sustainability, Nyasha is excited to be working with the Insect Neurolab in understanding how we can utilise nature’s recyclers to create a greener future.
