Charlotte is a fourth year MSci Natural sciences student, studying biology and chemistry. She is doing a joint project between the Insect Neuro Lab and the Mahon group in the Chemistry department. Charlotte is developing methods to increase neuronal uptake of quinic acid to activate the Q-system in Drosophila melanogaster.
