We have some fantastic news!

Durga Bethala, a PhD student from the Haffkine Institute, Mumbai, India received the Newton-Bhabha PhD placement fellowship.  Durga will visit the lab this summer for 4 months to work on the blood-brain barrier of Drosophila. 

AND

Natasha Ali (Durham undergraduate student) received the Summer Studentship from the Physiological society. Natasha will work in our lab for 6 weeks in summer, and will characterise our new Anopheles lines.
